Our boy loves the ladies

Our little Marshmellow is already a ladies man. I mean, he is just such a cutie, who wouldn't love this face?

He loves to play and the girls are really enjoying their new playmate. Just, sshhhhh, do not mention this little dude is a goat. I am pretty sure they all, including the 'goat' himself, thinks he is a little D-O-G.

Thank you chickens

I know I am a little late on posting about Easter, however, I just remembered I wanted to make a public thank you announcement to our laying chickens for their continued hard work. Every day we go out and steal their eggs and never once give thanks to them. I mean, sometimes we even take the warm eggs right out from under one of those big girls.

Ella and I spent Saturday evening dying eggs to make them egg-stra special for the big day of repeatedly hiding and hunting them.

I am so glad the dye that Ella had on her face, ear and shoulder was easily removed by my makeup remover towels. The mixture of colors was a very gruesome green, not at all matching this beautiful dress.

Of course our favorite egg was the bright pink one. It just turned out perfect.

We really hope the girls continue to feed us, and, of course, give us something to hide and seek.

Another mouth to feed

We had another baby goat born and the excitement is real. This baby was born Monday, April 18. I would usually not make a big deal out of a baby goat or even make a post with one because they usually find a home when they are less than a week old. This, however, is a different case. This little baby boy will be making his permanent home here, on the farm. Ella has decided he has a name, Marshmallow, and his last name will be Hosler.
I guess we will keep him... and her.
I am sure this baby will be just as spoiled as the little girl. I look forward to the fun times.
